A weekend to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly atmosphere from all staff and shown to our room and what was available. We had a lovely large room overlooking the car park with a very comfortable bed and everything needed within the room. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and a superb evening meal in the bright & warm conservatory. Also nice to be able to eat breakfast outside on the terrace.
Front of House staff Alistair & Charlie were fun, accommodating and an incredible asset to the company.
All in all a lovely hotel to spend a night or even several nights in with everything that a guest could need.

The property was immaculate, inside and out. The location was beautiful and the facilities were top notch. So peaceful, just the sounds of birds, sheep and the occasional cow. Lovely comfortable accommodation with a big bed and a modern shower room. The breakfast hamper was great and filled us up for our trip to Sissinghurst. We were looking for a little bit of relaxation and that’s exactly what we found. Really thorough and helpful comms from the owner who was welcoming and friendly when we arrived.

We have had contact with Marden for many years for visiting family, hence our stay. The village is nice with shops, pubs, takeaways, church, library, nice places to eat Tandoori is excellent . There is a railway station with trains to London, and other places in between. Bus service also not many a day but useable. Nearest main shops are Maidstone, Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells and not too far to get to the coast, or places to visit - castles, country parks etc
