The location was very good for us, with what we wanted to see.
The room was very nice and modern.
The bathroom was nice and the bath was lovely and the shower
The room we were in looked over the back garden that was nice
The staff were friendly and we had one breakfast which was very nice.
You could take snacks back with you to have later, which was good
The hotel was nice, old but nice.
The first day we booked in my husband didn't like the room we got.
So we asked if we could swap rooms and they did

Breakfast was right up there with the very best, lovely setting with great hosts . The animals are a bonus - a turkey with attitude , sheep wandering about, some friendly horses and their dogs are wonderful

Such a cute little cottage. Rachel was very helpful when I called because I couldn't find the location and also I was a lot later than I anticipated and the time set in the app. It was cleaned and set out to a very good standard and was very well equipped
The bed was firm and comfortable as I like it, the area was quiet and peaceful and pubs etc nearby, perfect for a short getaway.

I didn't originally book breakfast but rang up a few days ahead and sorted that directly with them. A list of local places serving evening meals would have been useful, but we managed to sort that although a lot of pubs around that area seem to have closed down.
Go to nearby Gainsborough and visit Gainsborough Old Hall as it is amazing!
