Clean room. Staff service was excellent , very helpful
Situated in Newquay’s lively centre, this 3-star hotel offers an impressive cliff-top terrace and bright bedrooms. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the restaurant serves fresh local seafood.

I booked this place for Aussie in-laws looking to visit to Cornwall. They said it was quite an old building so people walking around at night was a bit noisy. The views from the dining area were excellent. A great spot to explore Cornwall and surrounding areas.
Perched high on Newquay's Pentire Headland, Pentire Hotel sits between Fistral Beach and the Gannel Estuary. The hotel has wonderful views, a modern leisure centre and free Wi-Fi.

Room was ideal for my purpose and well equipped. Floors were all over the place, lol, but that added to the character.
Overlooking Fistral Beach with stunning Atlantic views, the Esplanade Hotel has an indoor child-friendly swimming pool, a spa bath, and a sauna.

We have been there before and found this visit very oppressive. The shower flooded so it was wet everywhere, the cleaning was below standard. There is a huge difference from when we stayed in October to now in the state of the room.
Overlooking Fistral Beach in Newquay, the Oceanside Lifestyle Hotel boasts sea views. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk from Newquay town centre and adjacent to the golf club.

The location by Fistral Beach and the Coast Path.
Staff were really friendly and super helpful.
Amazing terrace with an excellent view across the golf course and fistral beach.
Great bar area with cosy seating.
Fabulous breakfast.
Good car park for 5 pound per night.
Just a few minutes’ walk from Newquay’s beaches, Magnuson Hotel Sandy Lodgel offers family-run accommodation. There is a free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Mawgan Porth as a location is lovely - very small but beautiful beach and enough there to survive. Also the bus service between Padstow and Newquay, via Mawgan Porth was good and meant we saw several other beautiful beaches. It is very steep as soon as you walk away from the beach so you need to be fit.

Great beach Lots of nearby walks, both along the cliffs and up the valley.
When weather permits glorious sunset views.
The Merrymoor Inn is a good place to stop for a drink or a meal, be prepared to book at busy times.

We ate in the Merrymoor where the staff were friendly and helpful.
The best coffee came from Cornish Fresh which had a good breakfast selection and a nice internal bakery.
We were staying up the hill which can be steep, but the paths and access was quite good.

Brilliant for body boarding and surfing with RNLI lifeguards very much in evidence which is very reassuring. Beautiful beach - a few shops, well stocked store with plenty of home cooked items to take away. Everyone we met was really friendly. Family had a surfing lesson - huge success - delightful instructors.

Good location especially for families probably not as busy as other well known locations nearby but all the local amenities you need are on hand. Great for a few short coastal walks and all the usual beach fun.
