The location was lovely. We didn’t expect to be so close to the water.
We had the last room and although it was small it was very clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband uses crutches and wheelchair and we ha no issues for him getting around although the bathroom isn’t suitable for disabled but for us there was no issues.

The accommodation was close to both bridges which meant easy access in all directions. We really enjoyed exploring the island of Anglesey and also lots of places on the mainland. We really enjoyed our holiday. We found lots of lovely places to eat, some inland and others practically on the beach. We had a great time, wished we could have stayed longer.

It has everything could could ask for in walking distance and there is everything there you need including a laundrette, maybe not the first thing you think of, but trust me you may need it, the views are stunning and the locals are so friendly, a trip I will not forget.

We absolutely loved staying here.
We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was fresh and very generous portions. They made our children feel really welcome. A great atmosphere.
We would definitely stay here again.
My favourite thing about Maen Hir would probably be the location. The stars were really clear and it was a great dark sky site. There were owls flying around at night. Absolutely beautiful.

North Wales has plenty to offer and we stayed in Menai for the one night following a 250 mile motorcycle trip up to and around North Wales and Anglesey. There's a nice vibe about the whole town and the connections in and out look well kept.
Superb photo opportunities down under the bridge too!
In my recent 3 week trip in the U.K., this place stood out by far as the most beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, wonderful place. It was so thoughtfully put together, with so many extra perks and comforts. It is also super convenient for so many wonderful places to visit in Wales, as well as near a town a short walk away with grocery stores, restuarants, bakeries, etc. I can't wait to return and spend more time there.
The apartment was spacious, well equipped, super clean, with lovely modern decor. Easy check in with door codes. Everything you might need (dishwasher tablet, coffee pods, milk etc) all provided by the owner. Great location as well, just off the A55, close Menai Bridge restaurants, and easy to walk to the shore.
It is the best place we have stayed in the area and will return.
Lovely house and garden with amazing views of the Menai Bridge. Nice room and bathroom. Hosts very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Felt very welcome and very much at home. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Numerous restaurants and takeaways within walking distance, a list of which are provided in the room. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Wales.
The location is excellent, close to Menai Bridge town centre and the Hidden Gardens.
Our Coach House was spacious and overlooked the strait..the views were breathtaking!
The Château offers a good breakfast and I'd recommend their delicious afternoon tea..an abundance of sandwiches, savouries and homemade cakes (and if you can't finish them you can take them home)!
All food and drink was amazing. Breakfast and dinner. Very impressed. Hotel accommodated us for dinner (last minute) even though they were very busy, much appreciated.
Location to the Menai bridge is great. 2 min walk to bridge. We used this hotel as base to walk Aber Falls and then Devils Kitchen. Perfect location to do just that.
Staff we're excellent.
The hotel has recently been refurbished fully to a very, very high standard. It now stands head and shoulders above its contemporaries in the area. Walking in is like entering the Tardis; you can guarantee finding the right spot for you to enjoy your time to the fullest. The food was excellent and breakfast particularly good value for money.
Eirian was a lovely host, very accommodating. Hot breakfasts were excellent as was the local advice. The location was just outside Menai Bridge but that made for a very quiet and comfortable stay away from the crowds. Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot!
The location was stunning in the summer it would be perfect for anyone who wanted a lovely hotel to take in the views
Although we didn't have breakfast we did eat there the night before and the food was excellent
Well worth a visit
Key code messaged before arrival, folder with relevant appliances/heating controls, comfy beds, spacious rooms and plenty of parking space, easy access to Beaumaris and wider Anglesey, lovely view of the Menai Strait.
The property was in a quiet location just outside the town. Easily accessible.
The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast as well.
Great room, especially the bathroom in the turret. View from the Morning Room onto the Menai Strait is lovely. Hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and attentive.
Very quirky and quaint in an ideal location next to menai bridge. Well stocked with quality items and we appreciated the welcome gift. Managed to park opposite the house throughout
We chose the B&B option and had some really good breakfasts at the venue. In town for a wedding and the front desk was great at directing us around and ordering a cab for us.
Best place to stay in Menai Bridge. New ownership is exceptional - food outstanding, view to die for. Breakfast overlooking the water - what more could you ask for.
