Booked at the last minute after hurting my knee in a cycling event. Arrived late afternoon, with a very muddy bike and the staff were extremely helpful, making sure I could take my bike into my room so that I could leave early (as the secure bike shed would only be opened at 10am). The bed was very comfortable, and having a bath in the ensuite was very welcome after 100 miles of cycling! I had my evening meal in the pub, which was delicious, and all the staff were realy helpful.

hotel was beautiful and impressive - gardens stunning and a lovely surprise - staff were excellent and a real asset . Hotel very dog friendly and dog was welcomed by all staff ..Room was large well equipped and very comfortable with excellent decor . Toiletries were lovely .
