Not much in Millom itself but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Narrow gauge railway at Ravenglass is stunning, we also visited wastwater , and Ulverston which is a lovely little town.
We ate at the ski bar on the site and the harbour hotel port haverigg, both were nice but slightly more choice and better service in the harbour hotel.

One of the most beautiful and unique place in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 lake view and sea view at the same spot. Hundred times better than Windermere. We spent quality family time in peaceful environment. Kids liked it as well as my daughter said she can live there forever ❤️

Millim is a quiet small village.
Millim is a quiet small village. Not alot to do there so would have to travel to attractions usually a minimum of half hr drive. It is a quaint little village though with a few lovely walks. Could do it all in a day though.

Millom itself is lovely, very old and like setting back in time with the stone houses and dirty net curtains. Beach is lovely albeit rather black and muddy. Beachside bar and restaurant is great for food, very friendly.

Millom itself is a very rural place and not really a tourist destination as such, however. Its a great location base for walking and Haverigg Beach is also just a short drive away.People are very friendly and shopping choice is very limited so take as much as you can with you.
Wow, what a little gem I was lucky to find, run by a lovely Mum and daughter. Travelling with a friend we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We were shown to our rooms and facilities all explained to us. Rooms, (we each had a double), beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with one of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept in. Delicious breakfast served at the time requested by us. Would highly recommend and we would certainly go back there if in the area again.
A very spacious house with a great outdoor seating area. The living area is more than big enough for everyone to sit down for dinner or separately on the sofas. The pub fittings such as the bar make it feel special. The 4 bedrooms are all very big with decent bathrooms for each. A great garden space in front of the house as well. 20 minutes walk to the beach or to Millom centre with a good selection for dinner. Everything was contactless so very smooth.
The apartment was spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were really comfy, and the flat was well situated as a base for lake district hikes.
The apartment is in great condition, and despite being in what looks like a Victorian era building, it has clearly been renovated to excellent modern standards, and stayed nice and warm with the heating on.
everything - excellent location in the marina village for the ski bar, promenade, beach and a great welcome package (milk, bread, tea etc.)!
close enough to local shops for an enjoyable short walk.
lovely and clean with good tv reception for the rainy days in.
Excellent location for us. We are regular visitors to Cumbrian Heavy Horses. This was a super comfy , clean place to stay and was great to have the kitchen so we could cook at home. Super comfy beds . Would love to stay here again.
The location was in a quiet corner of the Lake District, outside the national park and therefore not overrun with tourists, above a friendly pub. The room was a very good size and absolutely immaculate, and our hosts were lovely.
Great quiet location as long you are willing to travel here and there. We had daily trips to lake district various locations. We had a dog jack russell with us. Long walks available behind the lodge. Very pleasant place.
The cottage is very near to the sea at Millom. It is a nice little cottage and clearly efforts have been made recently to update it making it quite cosy and comfy. Tom (owner) seems like a really nice guy 😊
Sherry and Lauren were friendly and very accommodating. The double room is large and well furnished with a chair, fridge, fan and microwave. Good location for exploring coastal areas and the Lake District.
The van on inside spotlessly clean, quiet location, ideally located for exploring, near to beach bars and shops, everyone extremely friendly. I would stay on this park again.
Lovely house exceptional clean, hosts are on hand to answer any questions.
Great location to explore the Lake District, really felt like home from home
