The property was in a perfect location in a nice village. The staff even let us put our motorcycles in an enclosed courtyard out the back which gave us peace of mind. The staff and people couldn’t of been friendlier or more accommodating if they tried. Breakfast was spot on, the property was clean and the beds where comfortable.

In landscaped gardens on the edge of the Lake District, Grange Hotel has a swimming pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Lake Windermere is 5 miles away.

The breakfast was excellent with a great deal of choice and staff always on hand to aid and assist. Dinner in Carriages was very good - fine dining. The room was comfortable would just mention that it was inclined to be dark being on the side of the property - needed to use the lights and lamps if wishing to read.

Very pretty building, interior decorated nice. Welcoming property with great views. We got room service in the evening for our meal, which was exceptional standard! Fantastic food couldn't recommend that evening meal enough. Room was very clean and has everything we needed.

The view, the village, the helpful staff apart from the owner. You classed this room as 'Deluxe Queen Room'. NO WAY - it had cracked, chipped, & tarnished wash basin and other short comings of a deluxe room. Photos attached.

The room was cosy and suited our needs. The cooked breakfast plus continental selection was outstanding. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Dinners were delicious also. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and has such a welcoming feel.
