The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely shower room. Comfortable bed and a fridge in the room with complimentary milk, juice and water. The continental breakfast was delicious - more food than we could eat so had a couple pain au chocolate to take with us for lunch! We also had a meal in the evening which was very good.
The beautiful village also has a fascinating history.

The owners are very friendly. When we finally arrived after long delays and could not find the exact location, Steve came to pick us up at a nearby parking place and arranged a late pub meal for us, gave clear instructions to thei B&B, a lovely big farmhouse.

The most fantastic hosts! Shaan and Sef are friendly, accommodating, fascinating, creative and fun! I think we could be lifelong friends! Beautifully designed accommodation with lots of thought put into the details for a comfortable stay. The serene pastoral view of the paddock with grazing sheep is an added plus.

I enjoyed the full breakfast before setting off on another day of walking in the Nottinghamshire countryside. The welcome was friendly and the service excellent. The totally peaceful setting was so calming. I would recommend staying at Breck's Cottage.
When I was walking in late May evening meals had to be planned for (no problem with a car) but managed to include one in nearby Laxton on the way to Breck's Cottage.
