Stayed here as we were seeing Peter Kay. We were upgraded on arrival which was a real treat. Our room was huge as was the bed. The staff on arrival were pleasant as were the evening shift staff. We didn't have breakfast as we like to sleep in. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfy. Most Hotels I've been in are cold in winter but the Queen was lovely.
Best of all was walking in to the Hotel. You feel and and are treated like royalty.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a great size with very helpful facilities to make tea and coffee and store your own milk. Very important! The room accommodated dogs and provided a lovely dog bed and bowls.

The venue was stunning. Basic room but only sleeping in it. Bathroom was clean. Lounge was comfortable and great coffee facilities.
Breakfast was lovely and peaceful.
I will hope to stay longer in future.

Very quiet which was lovely, nice for children and a lot of small parks and first areas to explore which are sometimes a nicer alternative to busy ones.
Close to Leeds and you can go by train or bus but , it is useful to have a car to explore.
