Brilliant location in the stunning village of Mousehole, waking up to the sunrise over the sea and the sound of waves. The accommodation was 5-star - beautifully finished and well equipped for a luxurious stay. It was also the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening after a long day of walking the South West Coastal Path with a comfy sofa and TVs upstairs and downstairs with lots of channels and apps.

Good breakfast buffet, though the eggs tended to be on the cool side. Lots of choice with fresh fruit. Lovely room in beachy colors. Huge windows overlooking the sea and lots of sunshine. Beautiful views. One window did not open. Small but full bathroom. Amazing snacks in each room. Good blackout curtains.
Take the very fun open top bus to other spots to the West. Sennen Cove was spectacular.
With wonderful views across Penzance Bay, Hotel Penzance offers award-winning cuisine and boutique bedrooms. Guests can relax in the swimming pool in the Mediterranean-style gardens.
The unique and original rooms at the 17th-century Artist Residence are each uniquely designed in an eclectic, rustic style, with a curated collection of limited edition artworks throughout.

Have known Mousehole for 50yrs.
Have known Mousehole for 50yrs. Originally wonderful quaint fishing village, but life changes. Now a local said only 6 families are left. In winter it's mainly empty holiday accommodation but the pub is friendly with good food, and a walk round is rewarding. Builders renovating arrive about 9 a.m. Even the wonderful Lobster Pot restaurant is now accommodation. Even so, it's quiet and charming out of season and I would recommend a weekend.
Check the history of the lifeboat. The BBC Radio 4 version is the most gripping broadcast I have ever experienced.

Wondering around Mousehole's maze of streets is a joy, during the day, and at night. There are some great places to eat, especially if you like seafood. From Mousehole, you can walk to Newlyn, or take the coastal path to Lamorna. Or take a walk up to Paul Church.

Beautiful village with a lovely harbour.
Beautiful village with a lovely harbour. We were there in January so a lot of places were closed down for refurbishment. However, when they are open you can get an amazing meal at The Old Coastguard and lots of lovely fresh produce from The Deli on the harbour front. Also The Orange Cafe is a great place to eat.

I loved our time here and wish it could have been for longer. The staff was lovely , our room was even better than I hoped, the food and amenities were all super. Only drawback was the parking and I don’t think there’s much to be done about that 🤷🏼♀️.

Mousehole is an ideal location to access the coastal pathway...
Mousehole is an ideal location to access the coastal pathway; the walk Westward is stunning and varied. The village itself has enough little restaurants to suit different tastes and budgets; it is definitely worth booking in advance. A stroll around the village doesn't take long but worth it - look out for the 'last house standing' after the Spanish raid and also take the 5 minute walk to see the Penlee lifeboat station to learn about the disaster in 1981. A moving and humbling experience.
The cottage was beautiful! Fresh flowers on the table, tea, Cornwall apple juice and biscuits. Beds were comfortable. Towels big and thick! The outside front porch was warm and comfortable. Mousehole is a wonderful little town! We were lucky to attend The Sea, Salt and Sail festival! Loads of friendly people! Comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and quick to offer good restaurants and things to do! Our month long trip traveling the UK has been enriched by spending time in Cornwall and the lovely cottage. Just wonderful!
Tracey, who runs the B&B, was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was very comfortable with good en-suite shower room, and separate entrance . Everything was spotless and there were some nice touches such as the fresh wild flowers. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied daily. The B&B is situated in the centre of Mousehole, so very close to all facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice, high quality and delicious.
Mousehole is a lovely village to visit and we loved it. Communication from Nicole was timely and helpful. The cottage is well located close to the harbour. The kitchen is quite new and has just about everything you’d need - no dishwasher. The thoughtful gift of fudge and shortbread was really appreciated as were the fresh flowers. Parking was no problem in the street outside, but we visited in early October when things get a lot quieter.
The Ship Inn was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Mousehole. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The pub downstairs was cosy and quirky with plenty of seaside charm. The food on the dinner menu was great and the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would recommend The Ship Inn to anyone visiting Mousehole.
The Net Loft was a classic Cornish loft in the quaint town of Mousehole, and we loved the decoration as well as the location down the alleyway. Directions were comprehensive as well as instructions for rubbish, etc. There was a homemade booklet in the lounge telling of the best areas to visit/eat in surrounding areas. Overall the facilities were clean and comfortable.
This was in a great location right in the harbour of Mousehole and cosy great for a couples and friends , bus just outside that’s had a regular service all over the surrounding areas . TV and services were great when we stayed in and local pub so close called the Ship Inn , and deli and lovely restaurants too !
Cobbles Loft is in a great location just off the harbour side and close to restaurants and amenities. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and very welcoming with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided on arrival. The apartment had been decorated for the festive season which was a lovely touch.
The perfect hideaway to fully enjoy the true charm and character of Cornwall. Perfectly appointed with clean, modern decor - it’s got everything you need - including 2 storey views, an outdoor patio…even an in suite washer/dryer combo! Warning: You won’t want to leave!
It was beautifully decorated & very clean. Everything you could possibly need. Owners have put a lot of thought into making the studio welcoming to visitors. Wine on arrival, cereal & milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. Mousehole was beautiful also.
It was clean, cozy, and well-appointed. For a smallish studio, the space was well-utilized. The hosts were very responsive and generous. Mousehole is a wonderful village to spend time in, and the studio was close to everything there.
Perfect location within a few minutes walk of Mousehole harbour & it’s fabulous restaurants and cafes. Immaculately clean cottage was so comfortable. Couldn’t fault it. Perfect base to explore the Southwest Coastal path.
Everyone at the Ship Inn was so friendly and welcoming. We really felt at home here. The room was comfortable and warm, the food was delicious, and the friendliness of the staff was the best of all.
It was as good as staying in an hotel. The breakfast was better than any hotel breakfast I have had, with the added bonus of personal service and several of options to choose from.
The staff at no 2 were on hand and helpful from start to finish the view and comfort was excellent... I would definitely stay here again on returning to mousehole
