Very helpful and friendly staff, we arrived very early to drop our bags before heading to a matinee show and upon seeing the 2 kids the helpful reception arranged for us to drop the bags in our room so everything was ready and waiting when we returned that evening.
Super large bed for the adults, decent enough sofa bed for the kids.
Bathroom in between the 2 areas, which was great for a bit of separation from the kids.
Good selection of food at the breakfast buffet.

We arrived late due to the train we came in from Paris. We had already stayed at The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and that was an incredible hotel and amazing stay with fabulous staff ready to help and make our experience amazing. When we arrived by taxi we had a lot of luggage and a child with us. There were two ladies in the lobby none of which came ot help in any manner. Just stayed behind the desk while we struggled with everything. We had to come in to ask if we could use 2 bell carts. They just pointed in the direction of the carts. Did not even hold the door for us to grab them and bring them out. We couldn't even open the door to bring in the luggage either and they still did not move to offer help at all. I would have helped if I was even a guest walking by but your staff did not even move or offer any assistance. It was very disappointing. The location was ok, the size of the hotel was much smaller than the other two park plaza hotels we stayed in and the self serve aspect was the same way. A let down from the other two Park plaza hotels we stayed in during our trip. the price did not really reflect much difference in the quality of the hotel compared to the other two Park Plaza hotels we stayed in.

Norbury is in South London and has very good transport links to central London and west to Wimbledon.
There is Norbury Park and the area is pleasant and quiet. Within 10 mins walk there is Streatham Common with open views as well as a lovely garden to wander through and relax
The Rookery
A walled garden that would not look out of place in a BBC costume drama. Stunning throughout the year and still relatively undiscovered by the residents of South London. The gardens are beautifully maintained by a justifiably proud set of volunteers.
