Hunters Moon B&B, hotel in North Tidworth

Hunters Moon B&B is set in North Tidworth, 15 km from Stonehenge, 21 km from Old Sarum, and 24 km from Salisbury Train Station.

We have been in 9 different places to sleep in the almost 3 weeks holiday in Scotland and England and this was the number one, short over one more. A beautiful little house from 1840. Modernized, but keeping some of the beautiful old. Lovely bIg Garden with even chicken who's eggs we could even eat. Incredible good taste in decoration and the details. So clean and kept in order. Framed plans of the building keep you in the history. Wonderfully little things to eat for breakfast in the little own kitchen. Such friendly hosts who renewed one more old house for themselves. Still enough distance to feel privat and on you. I hardly can stop praising :). And half an hour to Stonehenge and others like Avebury and to Salisbury. Thank you both so much.

We loved the country location with fields of wild flowers and the modern barn with all the home comforts. We loved the breakfast too, with fresh berries, yoghurt & granola and freshly cooked eggs & bacon. We loved meeting the Golden Retrievers and wandering outside, discovering the names of the flowers and enjoying the serenity underneath the trees.

Great location, lovely spacious area, fantastic comfy bed, nicely fitted out space, easy to find and parking accessed next to lidl entrance around corner. Easy key collect. Safe and quiet accommodation. If youre not cooking HUGE choice of eateries right on your doorstep, and opposite tesco superstore for handy supplies. Accommodation just needs a bit more care to make a great stay. Really has potential but needs a little extra care, some dusty services, no TV channels ,utensils and worktop grubby., no mattress protectors. Cigarette butt's on outside patio.. Host lovely and friendly, would stay again despite issues which can be resolved easily .

There was only one restaurant (Indian) within easy walking distance, plenty of take away and delivery establishment, There was one pub within the whole of the area and food was basic, burgers etc., There were nicer restaurants/pubs within driving distance. There was a large Tesco and Lidl within walking distance, very little else. Fortunately the accommodation was well equipped for self catering. Plenty of open space for walking.
