This hotel isn’t fancy, but it is very comfortable and the staff are very nice and friendly. Excellent breakfast is included. The restaurant/ bar has loads of space and there’s a back patio area that includes tables, a stage for music and a play area for kids.

The room was cosy and suited our needs. The cooked breakfast plus continental selection was outstanding. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Dinners were delicious also. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and has such a welcoming feel.

Fantastic place to use as a base, quiet village but on main route link to Morcombe, Windemere, lake district and Scotland. We visited loads of places of interest as well as our main focus, Cartmel races. Over Kellet also has a pub in walking distance with a friendly landlord who serves amazing food. Definitely recommend a stay in the village. Also a mile away from Capernwray Quarry dive site so perfect for scuba divers!
