Good location for ferry terminal. Very grand and impressive residents' lounge and public room at rear (former ballroom, with frescos). High quality, authentically antique decor and woodwork in bar area. Clearly was once an important public building, with strong links to the sea, and centre of public life.

A very good position. Easy to find. Parking is available, but on a steep hill with not a lot of room for manoeuvre. Sea view. Comfortable beds.
