Lovely setting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and fruit available anytime was excellent and appreciated. Bedroom comfortable and clean. We will stay again.

Absolutely lovely place run by fantastic people. The place’s quite new so they aren’t doing food as of now (although I hope they do the next time I’m around). Huge shout to John, Lindsay, Belinda, Heidi (and I cannot forget about Tammy and Starla). Great people, good times, love it

Wonderful village, deep in the Surrey countryside, popular with mountain bikers, walkers and ordinary people like me! Surrounded by the Surrey Hills, there are some terrific walks and the climb to the top of Pitch Hill is well worth it. There’s a great little shop, but most important of all, a stupendous pub, the Hurtmore Inn, whose restaurant has the biggest plates of food I have ever seen, and whose waiters (Italian) are totally adorable. The Hurtmore Hotel is just behind the pub and is also excellent.

All the staff are warm and friendly, the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is amongst the best I have ever had. My partner and I had high expectations having read other reviews prior to our stay, these were met and exceeded! Final point worth noting is that Peaslake is a lovely place to stay, with some excellent loyal walks and a charming village store right opposite the hotel!
