One of the most unique hotels in Perth, set in a 15th century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, reception area and Lounge Bar.
This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

This hotel was a stunner! The girls at reception were welcoming and helpful, the meals were truly exceptional and the breakfast hostess was a hard-working delight. Every facet exceeded our expectations and the price was very reasonable.

A dirty, sketchy neighborhood. The first and only time I felt I had to be on guard while in Scotland. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed even in early afternoon. Not much to do or see. Reasonable distance from airport but no other reason to stay here.

I had always by-passed Perth, but no more.
I had always by-passed Perth, but no more. I met up with a friend at The Jade Garden in the evening and next morning walked down to the bridge and over the river. I went to the excellent gallery to catch paintings by Fergusson, one of the Scottish Colourists, and then on to the new museum. It was a revelation, surrounded by cafes, but I went to their own food room, which was a delightful space, serving interesting food at good prices.

The multistorey car park at Kinnoull Street is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs.
The city itself is compact and pleasant enough. No hills in the city so easy to get about.
Plenty of cafes by the new museum.

tv remote didn't work, took 30 mins to check in, breakfast took 45 mins after ordering, beans not cooked, sausages not cooked, it appeared that one person was the receptionist and the chef, same person booked me in was cooking my breakfast
We enjoyed our first night at the Grampian Hotel so much, we decided to stay an extra 2 nights. The staff by far made our experience exceptional. Their customer service was above and beyond! The hotel is reasonably priced, and the rooms were very clean with nice, functional layouts. The location is also very good! It's about a 5 minute walk to Perth train station, and right down the street from the downtown shopping area. And even with that great location, we still found it nice and quiet.
Beautifully decorated old stone building with loads of charm and character. Newly renovated luxurious bathrooms in very generous rooms.
Gorgeous wood panelling and sumptuous leather chesterfields in bar area and super comfy chairs in dining room with its glorious views to the golf course.
Fabulous food served at dinner and breakfast with incredible service from the waiters. An all up amazing stay and wish we had longer. Would definitely book again if visiting near Perth in Scotland.
i am super glad that i choose this hotel, LOVED every bit of my stay. The location is in the middle of Scotland, the service from the staff was spot on, which made my stay very comfortable. There was a Fancy Bar&Restaurant which resided inside the hotel. And to top it off there was a complimentary breakfast as well. Overall it was a pleasant experience which ticked all of my boxes and I would love to come back here.
Everything was fine and we would be happy to stay again. A good place to break up the long journey from the south of England to the far north of Scotland. The room was comfortable, the restaurant met expectations. Nothing was exceptional - but no complaints either! Our retriever was happy and there were plenty of places to exercise her in and around the grounds.
The room was lovely and clean, as was the hotel on the whole, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and there were options for myself as a vegetarian, although it was essentially just cereal/granola and toast but I was content with that. The location was perfect for what I needed. Parking was available.
Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was perfectly prepared and tailored to our dietary requirements. The location was a very short walk from the town centre and we were provided a map with recommended restaurants on it which was very helpful. If we go back to Perth we would happily stay there again.
Nice place, friendly people! Had some delay due to airport issues, communication was great so
no problem - we could check in in the middle of the night :) Great place to start and end a trip in the Higlands. Will come back for sure if heading to Northern Scotland via Perth.
Murrayshall Country Estate is a beautiful location with lovely vistas. The one site restaurants were lovely and offered variety. Perth is a short drive away, but we had everything we needed at Murrayshall Estate.
Location and fantastic staff friendly helpful and professional . - a big shout out especially to the reception staff. Really impressed. Breakfast out of this world- best and tastiest I had in a hotel in Scotland.
The location was ok. Close to centre and station. It was a cheap option for a one night stay in Perth. I think it was a really nice hotel back in the day. The gentleman at reception was welcoming.
The staff & the food was great we have absolutely no negatives about this hotel it was central to perth & is easy to get to without having to go through the town would go again in a heartbeat
Very central, a little noisy but would expect that in city centre. Great centre for exploring this area of Scotland, particularly without car. Generally very clean and well equiped.
This hotel was out in the country and was very quiet. Off season meant there were few people and the weather was cool. Fun place to visit. Breakfast was the only problem.
