This was a one night stay because easy walk to train and the next morning picked up the car. Our room was right on the street but was amazingly quiet and fun to look out the old windows. We had occasion to eat breakfast and dinner in their award winning restaurant which did not disappoint.

There are no vehicle chargers, but when asked staff said they are looking to install them.
Rooms are a bit tired and could do with updating, but they are comfortable and very clean.

Brilliant transport links, bus link to Wrexham and Chester. Close to drive to Cheshire Oaks and explore lovely North Wales. Would highly reccommed the walk between Horse shoe falls and Llangollen (The donuts in the shop in Llangollen are amazing!).

Perfect for a one night stay.
Perfect for a one night stay. Room was comfortable but could do with an over haul, net curtains/curtains coming away from the wall - could be addressed very quickly. Bathroom also needs some TLC - bath side coming away, mastic around bath very unattractive! Bed comfortable, shower worked well. Fortunately there was no function in the hotel, so we could walk through the hotel to get to the bar/breakfast. If there is a function you would have to walk round outside - if raining, you will get wet!!! Breakfast selections poor - fresh fruit option and pastries very unimaginative and limited! Wouldn’t stay longer than one night!

Liked · The food is wonderful. This applied to both the evening meal and breakfast. Nearly everything was tasty, nicely-cooked and of ample proprotions . To cite a few things the sauces with both starters and mains were delicious and though I rarely eat a cooked breakfast much of what was on offer was irresistable including the tasty bacon and egg from the buffet.
Staff were first class and personable and our room very Ok. The reception area was very pleasant to sit and relax in.
Disliked · Music in the Oscars dining room was uncomfortably loud on entry but staff were totally responsive to turning the volume down when it was requested.
After a torturous journey with closed Motorways, Rossett Hall was a welcome break in our journey. We got there at midnight, and even though a wedding was still running, we got into our rooms seamlessly, there was no noise and my sons slept through until 0930 and our the room by the hotel lobby could have been a spaceship for the size of it. Check out the shower. I could not get my sons out of the blinkin thing. Awesome. Hotel staff were courteous, helpful and kind.
It was very clean, staff were friendly. Wedding reception going on and we couldn't hear a thing in our room. Both the rooms were lovely and we'll definitely be using the hotel again next year.
Breakfast was excellent. This hotel has everything what we need and staff are very friendly and supportive.
We love this cosy hotel and are coming back always around Easter time!
A haven of peace with the facilities we needed. Very tired, we never investigated the food availability. Beautiful country house hotel.

Staff, rooms, food and bar are all mostly great. One lady really stood out for mention but we didn't get her name, which is shame ss he is a credit to the hotel.
