In 6 acres of tranquil gardens and woodland, this Victorian country manor hotel offers charming accommodation. Falmouth town centre and the university campus are within easy reach.
For two people this cottage has plenty of space. The porch/utility room was very useful. Very good value for money - and no extra charge for dogs, which is great. The cottage is in a small rural village/hamlet, which has a pub very close by. The beds have traditional mattresses, not memory foam, and I slept very well in the main bedroom. There are no street lights in the area. The kitchen is modern yet has a traditional feel, with dishwasher and washer/dryer, and the living room is cosy. Gear farm is not far which sells (probably) the best pasty I have ever tasted. The Lizard has a lot of lovely coves to discover, many with national trust car parks, handy if you are a member. Good location for going anywhere in west Cornwall
