Although it is a small village there are 3 dog friendly cafes to choose from. I would recommend The Barn which has a garden nursery, gift shop, ice cream parlour and restaurant. Scorton is quiet.
Scorton is quiet. For an evening meal or drink you need to go to Garstang, though it is only 7 minute drive away. Ideal location to take in a walk around Grizedale Reservoir or up Nicky Nook to see fantastic viewsM MeiaUnited Kingdom

The ploughman's platter was delicious and just what we needed after a long journey. The breakfast is excellent. Scorton itself is a lovely little village, and looked extra nice at Christmas. The walk around the churches was peaceful and scenic even after dark and during the daytime the local amenities are on your doorstep. The location is also great as it's so close to the motorway. We enjoyed our stay so much we've already stayed again.

It’s a perfect romantic get away for a couple. It was dog friendly too which was great.
