Did the job, cute wee room above a traditional Cumbrian pub. Great place to stay if you also want to enjoy some real ales and Cumbrian food. The staff were all lovely and it had good heating (not always the case in these parts). The breakfast the next day was tasty and served in front of a roaring fire.

The food was absolutely amazing, really high quality food. There were also two gentleman that were really friendly, they need to teach their customers service skills to the younger boys! Very great location wise.

Excellent customer service from the staff members. The facilities, room, kitchen, bathroom. Etc were all kept nice and clean. We grabbed a frozen pizza on the way and made use of one of the two ovens they had. Kitchen has most the equipment and utensils required to make your own however we opted for the cooked breakfast and pie and mash supper the following day - both lovely.

Fabulous location, out of the way from the main bustle of Coniston but walking distance for everything. Lovely and quiet with friendly accommodating hosts.
Breakfast was brilliant, very tasty, using fresh local ingredients and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation whether to relax or explore the walks and scenery

There wasnt really anything in Seathwaite itself, we drove to the bigger villages and towns so we could have a wander round the shops, plenty different areas to visit, lots of shops allow dogs in which was great for us. We did buy fresh chicken eggs from a couple different farms we passed and they were lovely. The lakes are stunning, everywhere you go people are so friendly, would deffo return.
