We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important. We tried two of the three pubs and enjoyed the food at both. We would like to have walked from the property but this wasn’t possible, which was a disappointment.

Not exactly a hive of activity! No shops around and only 3 pubs which all were mostly empty.. Nice if you want a quiet retreat to get away from it all and get back to nature but not for is who like busy.

Very friendly place to visit, with great places to eat and relax. Food portions are huge and very yummy, great atmosphere, kind people and just a great place to stay while exploring Wales and the Brecons.

We visited Brecon and Builth Wells and found everyone we met was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day. We also went to the Botanical Gardens of Wales and Abergavenny. Can't wait to go back.

Friendly and accommodating with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it truly felt like a home from home. Dog friendly, and Bryan and Adrian (sorry if I spelt names wrong!) were amazing, really welcoming and treated us like old friends. We will return in the future 100%.
