This was our second stay at the Watlington Inn and once again it was a joy. The place is in the middle of refurbishment but it was still comfortable and clean. The ladies who run the place are amazing , they couldn't do enough for us and are the friendliest staff you could meet. We can't wait to see how it is when the refurb is complete

Price when we booked was very reasonable. Room comfortable although a bit on the small side but we suspect that was because we paid the bottom price. Pay more get a bigger room. The ambience of the old hall is exceptional although the vast majority of guests stay in the adjacent annex which is tastefully done. As well as accommodating guests the establishment caters for wedding parties and conferences etc. The extensive grounds are a real bonus where on a summers evening you can sit and relax and watch nature.
Close to major motorways, including the M6, M1 and M42, this large pub and hotel offers comfortable and competitively priced accommodation, plus outstanding facilities for business and private...

Sibson is a small village but the hotel is ideally situated...
Sibson is a small village but the hotel is ideally situated for a number of places of interest. It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking and is quiet even though on a main road.
It is very close to Twycross Zoo and the Battle of Bosworth exhibition. There are also at least two heritage steam railways within a short drive. It is very close to Leicester and Nuneaton but has all the peace and quiet of the countryside.
The food is excellent. Breakfast had a good variety of choice for a cooked breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu is all day. The hotel is modern but with interesting historical pieces, such as a large cast iron oven and a small pizza/bread-making oven, not to mention the water wheel in the bar. Staff are lovely and although most of them are young they do an excellent job and make a good team with lovely Claire on reception. Bed was comfortable and room and rest of hotel very clean. My room was quiet and overlooked the internal courtyard.
Brilliant little hotel super friendly & helpful staff, there were phone & wifi signal issues on the night i stayed, there was a really bad storm that day/night but WiFi was back up in the morning, Food was really good and a wonderful selection, breakfast was also fantastic, would deffo stay again
A pub/hotel converted from an old mill. Has retained some classic features such as ovens. Lovely flagstone flooring. Pleasant atmosphere. Hector the cat was a treat. Helpful staff for all the guests, especially accommodating for my 98 year old Nan.
We were in reality staying with friends who did not have the space to accommodate us. Although we did not have breakfast at the hotel we did have an evening meal there which was excellent. The staff were outstanding and we hope to stay there again.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights, our room was ok, the first room we were given had a broken toilet seat, however, we were given a new room immediately. I thought the room needed some redecoration as the walls were quite dirty in places.
The food at the hotel was consistently of a very high standard. All staff were very friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Everywhere was very clean and it was nice and quiet at night.
