Beautiful almost secluded place. Staff greeting were fab. Room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely view. Pillows are lovely and comfy. Nice thick curtains blocking the light when closed. Lovely style bathroom.

The rooms were stunning, bathrooms very clean and fans provided in all rooms which was good as they were very warm. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the rooms were ready for us. The driving range proved a hit with our teenagers.

Bang on for The Feathers. I was a little surprised to be allocated a chalet at the back of the carpark, but, BUT it was spot on, big and spacious with the best shower I've had in ages., cudos to the plumber. The bar prices were VERY reasonable, nearly as cheap as my local WMC and the grub (evening meal + brekky - self serve) was spot on too. 10/10 for The Feathers.

Our 2nd time staying at the granary and both times have been lovely.
The property is very clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable and all the little things have been thought about (tea towels, washing up liquid, etc)
The area is very quiet and the parking is secure. Location is well situated and only took us a 20 minute drive to get into York city centre.
Hosts were lovely and very organised!

The property was well maintained and clean with gorgeous views of the lake from the livingroom window. York was only 25 minutes away and was a short drive to local pubs and shops for filling the fridge. The hot tub was amazing!
We travelled with our 10 month old daughter & Lisa was able to set up a travel cot in the 3rd bedroom which was really appreciated for our stay.

There were facilities for washing, and cooking which were good and clean. The campsite was quiet when I stayed. The location was good with trees and grass on the site making it feel secluded. The hosts were also welcoming and the camping pod comfortable.

The location was certainly pleasant but the very narrow lanes in this area are not so easy to drive along. Food in the restaurant on our first night was good as were the daily breakfasts. The staff were also very pleasant and friendly.
