The room was clean and cosy and the en suite was spacious. There was a coffee machine and fridge in the room which was a nice addition. Great location as it's in the centre of Stow on the Wold with lots of options for food and drinks on the doorstep. We ate at The Bell which was lovely, really great meal and lovely staff. We only stayed for one night as a stop over but wished we had stayed for longer!

Such a caraterist historical little village, with an enchanting and peaceful feeling. Every corner, and every building, is so picturesque and deserving photos. Our main meals were at the Stow Lodge Hotel, food quality superb and good value for money. Loved the antique shops and local cafes.

Pretty little Cotswold town with lovely honey coloured stone everywhere.
There is free parking at the local Tesco supermarket, five minutes walk from the town. The town square has is very spacious and also has parking.
If you like coffee and beer, you are in for a treat. There is an abundance of tea and coffee rooms as lots of decent pubs, including the Porch Inn which claims to be England's oldest.
The townhall is worth a visit as it has a very elaborate upstairs hall.
Make sure you get a photo of yourself stood by the two Yew trees that grow at the front door to St Edwards Church - very iconic.
Lots of National Trust properties nearby too.

Stow on the Wold itself, is a typical example of some of the beautiful Cotwolds towns and villages. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets and good for shops. A great location for walking to other lovely Cotswold towns and villages such as Bourton on the Water and the Slaughters. Also a good location for exploring further afield by car.

Lovely market town, with some great gastro pubs.
Especially the Queens Head pub at the end of the square. Landlady Anna and the bar staff Eva really looked after us and we had a great dinner there.
Another tip is the famous Scott’s of Stow kitchen shop and their outlet store full of bargains upstairs.

Great location. Short walk to market square of Stow-on-the-Wold. Very quiet neighborhood. Has parking for guests which is a nice feature in the small Cotswolds villages. Frankie was a top notch, responsive host providing us with lots of tips about local sights, walks and places to find good food. Very clean, a comfortable bed, electric tea kettle and coffee maker in room. Access to refrigerator and milk was an extra plus we appreciated. We would definitely stay here again, and we will recommend it to all our friends
The cottage was a lovely conversion of an older property in a quiet courtyard positioned centrally in the attractive market town of Stow on the Wold with easy access to pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The quality of the property was excellent and it was well-provided with utensils, TVs, satellite etc. Good heating system and excellent shower. Would happily return again and recommend it to anyone. No dedicated parking but we were able to park on the roadside without any problem.

Everything from the location to the fit and finish is outstanding about this property. The exterior is historic(located above a local quiet shop off the main town square) but no expense was spared on the interior renovation! Jane, our host, even had cheeses and charcuterie with crackers available at our check in.
This property exceeded our expectations in every way. This makes for a fabulous country retreat if you still want modern luxury comfort!
Had a fantastic night at the Horse and Groom. Booked the hotel as it was dog friendly and they made our little furry boy feel so welcome with a lovely bed set out for him with food and water bowls and a nice little welcome pack. They also have a lovely little dog menu. We decided to stay for our evening meal. The food was delicious and arrived nice and quick. The staff where amazing we would definitely stay here again
