Rooms 1-6 are the double/king terraced row. Clean, great views. Rooms 7 & 8 are above the inn, with private entrances. 7 is a king, with shower over bath, 8 is an apartment . 8 was fantastic, spacious, comfortable bed, clean. Wonderful old windows ! Excellent selection of drinks in the kitchen and quality toiletries in bathroom. Dinner at the inn was delicious. Apparently a new head chef .. quality restaurant level, in clean, cosy surroundings. Friendly and efficient front of house. All round, lovely stay.

Charming village in the Cotswolds.
Charming village in the Cotswolds. Has a lovely church, St Mary Magdalen, with a Norman tower. Great base for doing some walks on the Cotswold Way. The only place to stay or eat is the Compass Inn, but this is excellent.
