We had a room towards the back so noise and felt private. The room was nicely decorated and adequate space for 2. The location was lovely right next a quaint little church. There were plenty of tables in the main dining area but not many if you just wanted drinks. Having said that we did visit Easter Bank holiday and we did manage to get two very nice leather arm chairs after 10 minutes. Service and staff were great. I don’t know her name but I assume the manager was there dancing with staff and customers after 10pm and was up bright and breezy the next morning.

This place is just incredible! The check-in was efficient and very welcoming! The room was perfectly decorated and with such class. The view from the room was AMAZING! We thought we were getting a twin room, but it wasn't, so we were given another room quickly and with no fuss. We ate in the restaurant and it was so delicious and well presented. The team were remarkable and especially the manager. She was so much fun and kind. We loved every part of our stay and will be regular visitors now.

Worth a visit just for the beautiful grounds but main hotel...
Worth a visit just for the beautiful grounds but main hotel is tired and in need of a tidy up, the bar lounge is also too small, especially when everyone is crammed in in the evening. The bar food is absolutely appalling and as we visited during the final of the World Cup they offered a snack menu. My partner ordered a jumbo American hotdog and it was no more than a tiny tinned hotdog in an even tinier roll. Fish and chips in the restaurant was lovely but portions could be bigger. Did not venture to the spa as I wasn’t well but probably a wise decision if the mould all around our room window was anything to go by. If it hadn’t been for the location of this hotel and the snow, I would’ve been majorly disappointed. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you.

My husband and I stayed for one night on jubilee bank...
My husband and I stayed for one night on jubilee bank holiday Thursday. When we arrived and went into reception there was a security guard! This made us think, what on earth have we done! There was about a twenty minute wait to get to speak to someone at reception. We were told that we had been upgraded to the Manor house, we were quite pleased by this but had to drive around to it. Beautiful old building! We couldn't get our keys to work initially , eventually getting in we put our bags in our room to find that there was no soap to wash our hands. As soon as we'd closed the door I realised I had left my bag in the room, tried opening the door with the key and we could not get it open. Another trip to the main reception where we had to queue for another twenty minutes for another key and two small bars of soap. I wasn't happy!!! We then went to the bar to wait for my sister who was also staying there, crazy queue for the bar, guy behind the bar kept getting our order wrong. On the upside though . . . The grounds are truly beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic! Great selection of food and well worth the money. The chairs in the dining area though were pretty dirty with stains and food all over them. The pool was lovely and warm and very clean. The bed was amazing, so comfy! I would go back there again but take my own soap next time!

Great location and easy to find.
Great location and easy to find. If staying in the coach house, check in first then get your luggage as it is a short walk from reception and you might be able to park closer to the room. Avoid room 55 in the coach house unless you find the noise of a water heater coming on once or twice through out the evening and night soothing, it was like a kettle on full boil next to the bed!

It’s a beautiful setting, great venue for a wedding.
It’s a beautiful setting, great venue for a wedding. However parts of the hotel are very tired, dated & dirty. Especially the pool changing rooms. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, there’s no staff in that part of the hotel. Reception, bar & restaurant are badly understaffed.

Sadly this was overall a disappointing experience. We spend £150 on a special 24 hours time away, having given the illusion when we booked, that we would stay in the Manor House or it would already be part of the 24 hours. The breakfast was good, I felt for the staff who were overworked as there were too few of them. The overall appearance of the hotel is one of being run down and if we had known, we would have booked a cheaper hotel for £80 a night with a more reliable expectation. This was too much money for too little to show for.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, in an old stables, which was great. Really spacious and comfortable with a big, comfortable super king bed and separate twin for the kids. Large sitting area and small kitchen downstairs. Great for a family. Beware the stairs are quite steep though & probably not great for anyone with mobility problems.
Hotel is set in beautiful grounds, lots of space and nice walks. Breakfast was good and felt we had a good value stay.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were huge and the hotel is located in a really nice setting. We enjoyed the spa and had an evening meal in the brasserie and an after meal drink in the bar area. We enjoyed the morning buffet breakfast and the welcoming and relaxing environment.
The leisure staff ( notably Tom) were very nice.
It was our second stay in the hotel. We like the atmosphere of the pub and restaurant with different types of seating inside and outside. Good kitchen. Easy parking. Breakfast service at both days and second evening dinner (Dan) was perfect.
Very friendly staff, good food that was well priced and presented. Excellent facilities and rooms, and who knew Rosies Pig Cider 🐖 was that good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone absolutely brilliant.
Everything was lovely. Excellent food and the very friendly staff made our stay even more pleasurable. Would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Stratford-Upon-Avon. Highly delighted.
lovely surrounds and clean hotel. I got a room upgrade due to a noisy neighbour. very nice room. didn’t use any other facilities as only stayed for the night.
My expectations were low because of the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised! Loved the hotel, facilities are great and staff were amazing. I will be back!
