We stayed here as a mid point between White Peaks Distillery...
We stayed here as a mid point between White Peaks Distillery (where we had a tour and tasting session- highly recommended!) and Yassou Greek Kitchen (just the best dinner!) The local area was very pretty, but also very hilly! A poorly planned walk could cost your calves!

The Willow room was perfect for my needs - comfy bed, desk/dressing table & chair. Sash window a little difficult but managed. Fan provided. Hairdryer provided. WhatStandwell is a lovely village, we drove to The family Tree however there is a railway station 2 minutes walk away which will take you to Derby or Matlock and Matlock Bath. There is a bus service which will take you to Buxton and beyond, bus stops are also 2 minutes away or less.

Easy to get to .
Easy to get to . Hotel was easy to find and the food in the restaurant was good. Easy to get round the area with plenty to see and do. Watch out for the many speed cameras. Avoid weekends as parking everywhere was difficult . Enjoyed it so much we are going back.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was comfy. But unfortunately the room was too hot and the breakfast was not great. Although we paid separately for the dinner, the food also was not great - quite bland. We had burgers for dinner.MayaUnited Kingdom
