Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Room was lovely. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the grounds and peacefulness. One of my favourite places to stay.

My friends and I had no other purpose than to spend time together and, (apart from a delicious lunch at The Pear Tree - 5 mins walk) we spent the entire 3 days in the garden and house. If you want a few days of peace and privacy, with whatever you need just a quick text away, then this is absolutely ideal. We loved having the horses hang out with us too. We cooked all our meals there, and there was nothing we couldn't find in the kitchen inc. salt, pepper & oil. Great shower, comfy beds, lovely decor - Lagard stables had everything we needed and more.
