The wonderfully warm and understanding greeting by the receptionist - full of understanding [one of us had injured his knee in walking from Oxford to Reading over the previous 3 days], and clear explanation of why it was beyond her's or Malmaison's powers to cancel his room given that he had to return home for treatment. And she then asked after my friend when I checked out the morning after.

Great location for Lego lane and the Harry Potter Studios, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The food was good, breakfast was lovely and fresh each morning. Minimal noise even when there was a wedding on one of the nights we stayed.

Everything was excellent. From the welcome at reception, superb dinner, to a comfortable restful nights sleep. After a 9 hour nightmare drive, The Casa was truly an oasis.
