Lefkada town is just a short drive from the villa and there is free parking close to the harbour, so it is easy to take a short drive, 3 minutes, or long walk into town. Fabulous restaurants and bars once you get there.

Most people come here for sailing.
Most people come here for sailing. It's a busy little town with lots of tourist activities such as shopping and to Taverna's for eating. It's recommended to get a hire car and there's a few places in town where you can hire a small vehicle for a good price. Most of the good beaches are on the west coast. It can take between 30 and 70 minutes to get there.

Lefkada town was small enough to explore.
Lefkada town was small enough to explore. Lots of friendly cats. Good food. A variety of shops. We went in time for the International Folklore festival which was a bonus!! This was a wonderful experience!!! August 20-27. The bus system - KTEL - was efficient, affordable and accessible. The Milos Orlof Beach Resort was 10 minutes walk from our villa. The host Dinos and his team -Yannis and Aleki -were very welcoming. The beach was lovely and we could watch the windsurfing all day there. Most of the beaches had pebbles and were rocky so having water shoes with rubber soles will help with getting in and out of the water.

Lefkada Town is busy with lots of great boutiques, shops and restaurants. It is well equipped with supermarkets, coffee shops and a great bakery right next to the taxi rank. There is a beautiful marina but no beach, I would recommend staying on the outskirts to the west and travelling in for a meal or shopping so you can get the best of both worlds.

Couple of nice beaches, but they are overcrowded, super expensive and rude Greeks trying to steal your money. Filthy toilets in the most tourist locations and the Municipality of Lefkada is one of the worst. Our car was blocked in a proper parking space outside the Cityhall due to a flea market and they wouldn't let us leave. Two supermarkets, a bakery, a groceries and a sweets shop are located at 5 minutes walking distance. Parking is always available and there is no traffic, as the loction is placed at the end of a wide road that is closed. From this location we explored by car the amazing beaches in Lefkadas on the west side: Agios Ioannis, Milos, Pefkoulia, Avali, Kathisma Porto Katsiki and Egremni. The place was so well decorated and very clean! It is just as pictured online. Also, Vicky helped me plan the rest of my stay in Greece and helped me book the ferry and hotels to ensure I had it planned out accurately. I would definitely stay here again. The air worked well, the bathroom was nice and the stay was excellent! I am usually not someone to write a review, but this is the place to stay in Lefkada!

It has around 20 rooms which is more than enough to make it not too crowdy. You really get the feeling of a family hotel, which is perfect! The daughter is very friendly and helps where she can to make sure you have wonderful holidays! Although the area is nice, you need a car to visit the beaches or restaurants. The bar next to the pool is very cozy during the evening.

The breakfast is very good with lots of options and plenty of everything. We could take the bikes from the hotel to bike around town and to the beach with some good recommendations from the staff. The room and beds are very nice. Overall a very pleasant stay and definitely recommended!

The great thing is you have a washing machine and also there is plenty of parking in the street in front; parking can be really stressful staying in Greece. Short walk to the centre of Lefkada Town and nice walk across the causeway to the beach on the other side so no need to drive. Bakeries, supermarket, fruit shops, restaurants all nearby.
