The location is really good. The beach is in 5 min walk, also there are taverns and shops. You can easy find whatever you need. The rooms are big enough and clean. There is also a terrace with table and chairs which is great. There is a free space outside the hotel to park your car. The staff is really helpful and polite.

A very good hotel, a beautiful well-maintained garden with a swimming pool and sports and children's areas. Very tasty prepared and sufficient amount of food. Clean rooms and everywhere kept clean and tidy. All the staff were very kind. It is located in a quiet area but not far from the city and close to a nice beach.

The garden is great. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. There is a little kids nug full with books on the attic floor which was nice. There is a parking place which was useful. The beach down the stairs feels almost private. The host was very friendly, we felt really at home at the end.

I'd like hospitality and communication. Location in Metamorfosi was really good for us. The apartment is really fully equipped with everything for adults and children. There is a big parking lot in front and lots of pine trees around it

Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities.
Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities. The beach is not exceptional, but good for having a bath. There are numerous beaches around the village in a radius of 10 km, so Metamorfosi is a strategical base for touring the upper peninsula. For eating out I recommend the fish taverna over the harbour and the Pizzeria on the high street.

Small place but has almost everything you need from restaurants to shops and markets. The place is very peaceful and the people there are nice. The only drawback is that the beaches are not very good, but there are beautiful beaches in the surrounding area

I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and...
I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and get you relaxed but also busy enough to have things to do and explore. We stayed in Village Mare Hotel (fantastic resort!) with a very short walk to a great beach. Favourite places? The sea (I recommend taking a snorkel, the underwater life was beautiful!), Nikiti - old town (great views of the nearby hills & sea, Barcarolla bar with fantastic cocktails, great feel), and the Sunny Bay Beach bar for a craft bear and kids playground. Also the Blue Flag beach in the evening, just stars and the waves. We went for all-inclusive so ate at Village Mare only - fantastic food selection, even for fussy little eaters. We travelled around by taxis, I recommend booking them 24h+ in advance if you can.LuciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Quiet small place, especially suitable for families. Taverna Vassilis is the place to eat with good food and very good service. Nektar juice bar is a nice place to have a couple of drinks just seating outside and watching the inhabitants and tourists alike having their evening stroll.

Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character. Beaches are nothing special. Golden beach is clean, and small, with a shower and a beach bar. You have a natural shadow. The air is very pleasant because of the pines. I recommend Metamorfosi for families with small children because you have a nice park and playground for the kids. You have a couple of restaurants and coffee shops. A good starting point for visiting surrounding beautiful beaches.IvanaSerbia - 8.0Scored 8.0

We've been to the Halkidiki area many times staying on both peninsulas in many different areas but interestingly we've pretty much always been pulled toward the middle and ends of them and now we've been to Metamorfosi I'm not sure why. This is a lovely little town that seems to have everything you need for a lovely stay. Nice places to eat and a good selection of different accommodation.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the terrace is beautiful with a view of the pool, flowers and the sea, the pool is a good size, the pool bar well stocked, the beach at the bottom of the track is quiet and wonderful, and so it goes on... There's so much to say but it would be best for you to experience Maria's House Hotel yourself - you won't be disappointed. Thank you Natasa and family for giving us a great first taste of Chalkidiki.

It was super clean, changing sheets and towels daily, food was more than great, it was quiet and the beach was just dreamy. Newer too many people, always a chance to enjoy fully with your family as the sunbeds are just a good few meters away from the sea. Hosts were super nice, you simply feel like you are at home. She went above and beyond to checking us in, showing us the room and providing information about things to do in Halkidiki. The rooms are clean and modern, the quality feel on the bed linen proved that it must be relatively new hotel (or atleast renovated). It is pretty central with walking distance to most restaurants, shops, and the beach. We got a large bottle of water as well as wine in our room. Really great stay.

Hotel is on a good location, with two entrances. One is leading to a parking with many spots. Good cleaning service. Clean room and nice bathroom. We got the crib for the baby.
