The owners of Solovi Dvori are very nice, helpful and friendly people. We needed a parking space for 5 days to go hiking in the mountains before staying at their place and they let us park at their place (pre-season), hvala puno! Ivan built/rebuilt the small house himself with many lovely details. It's also very cutely decorated and well equipped (full kitchen accessories, even a washing machine). The house was spotlessly clean, we were very amazad, thank you! The king size bed is very comfortable and we slept very well in a quiet surrounding. The beach is only a few minutes away by foot, also a few restaurants, two studenac supermarkets and the bus stop. Very recommendable stay close by the Adria but still in quiet surroundings.

Only for those, who are looking for a quiet place. No crowd but also no shops, restaurants etc. within the village. Nevertheless, not far with car in the other villages. Sunset can be seen. Karlobag is a perfect place dor those who like and seek more adventure in the mountains and combine it with beautiful sea. I would say it's a small place more for family, or couples who like peace and quiet or just adventurers who wanna be close to the Velebit mountain.

It's great place to stay with kids, it's calm and small, not so crowded. Restaurants offer great sea food and fish for good prices (especially OK Karlobag). Small City without special spirit but on the other hand it's...
Small City without special spirit but on the other hand it's a good place for "base" to visiting Velebit. Only one hour to Paklenica and one and half to Northern Velebit. Might be also quite good start point for a trip to Una Park in BH - about 2.5 hours. The biggest advantage is that there are 2 markets, petrol station and few restaurants. There are some beaches but you need a car. Best one is zavratnica (a ticket is required 30Kn per person). During evenings might be crowded so sometimes You would better make a reservation in a restaurant. Good one is Karlobag OK and the little one near Karlobag OK but can't remember the name 😀.

The beach is right down some stairs and its isolated with plenty of shade and sunlight. We were provided with a parasol and deck chairs. Karlobag is a couple of minutes away by car and theres also a path along the shore all the way to the city if you like to walk. The beach was 15 m, with reserved places and clean water. The host family was lovely and friendly. Small grocery shop is few steps, but bit expensive, you can drive few km to Karlobag to make bigger shopping what is no problem. We'd love to come back again.

Beautiful view from balcony on the sea and Island Pag, very close to the beach and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful owners. Such a warm welcome with so delicious cake. Cleanlliness as in 5 star hotel. Water in the sea crystal. 20 min drive to ferry to Island Pag. Place definitelly worth it to come back.
