Although we stayed for only a night and actually made the booking within an hour of our arrival, and late in the evening, the host were so kind to accept our request and were readily availabe and so helpful. They were just so nice and welcoming, very warm people, which was exactly what we needed after a long & freezing day :) Would reccommend without a doubt!!

We loved the place we stayed, close to the river and the many restaurants in the centre. There is so much to see, but we didn’t have much time. Definitely considering coming back. Pepo’s was a great restaurant- fabulous food and local wine. And they knew how to serve a proper Espresso Martini

We went there for a Sci-Fi convention with our friends for a day. We spent almost all of our time at the Brod Fortress near the city center. The fortress is beautiful, but if there are no events at the times, it can be enjoyed very quickly. The main street, where you can only go by foot, is full of life... coffee shops, cake shops, stores. People are great and friendly.

It would be unfair of me to comment as I arrived as it was getting dark and left in the morning but it appeared to be quite industrial. I didn't see enough of the town to be able to have an opinion.

We also used the courtyard electric charger for our plug-in hybrid car. After breakfast, we enjoyed going by car to the top of the hill beyond the hotel, where we admired the panorama of the city and of the entire Sava Valley and, after that, we went to the Slavonsky Brod fort. This very interesting Habsburgic fort on the bank of Sava River is being restored and some of the restored part presently hosts a high school.

The fairy tale continues, when you enter the room. The big canopy bed is not just plain beautiful - it's comfortable as well. The same is true for the remaining furniture. We found even toys for kids and a kids corner, which my daughter welcomed excitedly :) Well maintained building, a nice underground garage, a lift and a superbly equipped place! Also - in a walking distance to the centre of Slavonski Brod and near many shops and restaurants! The coffee machine would be appreciated by anyone who likes coffee!
