Very relaxing though it is 15 min drive from miskolc center but lot of activities around hotel such as forest train,boating and waterfalls and location was excellent surrounding by forests and hills overall very relaxing to stay breakfast and dinner was very good

I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.

We travelled with our 2 dogs because of a running competition in the area. It was great we could stay in a ground floor room. Our room was clean and tidy. Had amazing views to the surroundings as the area of the hotel is just amazingly beautiful. The staff was super nice - we met Zsuzsi, Daniella and Krisztián. The food is also amazing, 100% recommend to eat and stay here!
