John, the owner welcomed us with a big smile, a lovely cup of tea, coffee and bisuits. He showed us to our room. The room itself was very clean, cozy and had an ocean view. The was also equpied with everything a hotel room will be, with complementary coffee, tea and biscuits. He also recommended a few good places around the area. He asked what we want for breaksfast in the morning and offered me a vegetarian option. The breakfast was plentyful. Overall, the place is amazing and we had a really nice experience. We liked the peaceful setting with everything you need close by such as a places to eat and a local supermarket. A lovely beach was only 10 minutes away. When the sun was out we enjoyed playing the ball games provided and it was handy to have an onsight kitchen. The children found it very exciting in the pod with the bunk beds.dianeIreland

The owners welcome you with open arms and make you feel like one of their own. You will not be treated as a stranger at Railway Lodge. Waking up to the beach is also spectacular. You will have all you need and more for breakfast, coffee, and tea. The location is lovely and the campsite is quiet and completely safe for kids. Audrey does toasted marshmallows at the campfire for the younger ones. Ashes pub next door is a gem and their coffee shop is absolutely fab!

Also bakery and bar next door which were amazing plus on site food van. Best chicken burger in years. Kids absolutely loved the cabins. They talked about the one night in Camp more than any other hotel break. Will be returning.
