We loved the house, the grounds and the hospitality. I visited with my mum who has limited mobility and Carol-Anne and Richard were endlessly kind and accommodating. They made our stay very easy and comfortable. Clonalis House is a very special place.

As OAP's we would have liked a grab rail as support in the shower cubicle and also a shelf or similar for toiletries. Afraid of slipping on wet surfaces is an issue for OAP's. We liked the room we had but was disapointed we could not get a drink when we returned to the hotel at 12 30. even though there were people in the bar. But if you like historic charm, visit Tully’s. Paul the owner and his staff were friendly, helpful and would take time to chat, help with questions about trying to find family history. The owner recommended a walk to me nearby, and it was quite possibly one of the best short walks I’ve ever done with so much to see and ever changing scenery, only took just over an hour in total!
