A real pity to see this landmark guest house fall from grace. While the guest rooms were clean and comfortable, the property is nowhere close to being a 4 star Blue Book guesthouse. Breakfast was fine, with Ann’s homemade brown bread being a highlight; however it was a real pity that the full breakfast was nothing special and the scrambled eggs inedible.
Most disappointing was the seafood open sandwich which included some questionable tinned fish and didn’t seem to include any fresh seafood on the plate at all. We were hoping for a much nicer experience but it wasn’t worth €200 bnb so we won’t be back.

Everything our room was perfect. The host was excellent and very friendly food left for us was very good quality. The decking area off the bedroom was fantastic and should be advertised better, it was a wonderful surprise, We will definitely return
