The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony over the river Slaney was gorgeous and the food in both the Dry Dock bar and Reeds restaurant was excellent. There were Egrets, Herons, Whimbrels, Chiffchaffs, Robins, Wood Pigeons, Corvids, Tits and Martins on the water, in the air and on the grounds of the hotel. It was a gorgeous location really peaceful.

Enniscorthy is lovely the bullying threatening security staff at hotel are not. Also the park has no grounds to it unlike they suggest there is a council park next to it complete with drunken antisocial yobs.

The town is run down with many delapidated buildings.
The town is run down with many delapidated buildings. Not enough shops and restaurants in the town to even spend a day - overall not a destination. Very steep streets so unpleasant trying to get around with a pram. I would tell people that Ireland is wonderful.
I would tell people that Ireland is wonderful. But when you pay for something you don't use. And the company or Hotel know it wasn't our fault. They should refund us immediately. Show us what the real Ireland is all about. The beautiful country and kind people.

Nice town with some nice shops.
Nice town with some nice shops. Walk along the river promenade was scenic but unfortunately short as a bridge was closed due to damage. Another walk to Vinegar Hill was short (about one hour round trip) but with stunning views at the top. Enniscorthy is well situated for scenic and tourist attractions in the area.

We stayed in the Thornhill suite and it was simply perfection. The restoration on the place is so well done. Our entire family stayed in the suite and you can’t beat getting an entire apartment suite for the price of a couple hotel rooms. The entire right side of the building is ruins from a fire in the 1920s and the left side is beautifully restored. I can’t explain how wonderfully this place is. Stay here!RachaelUnited States

Hosts were kind and had a printed list of local restaurants. The castle and grounds are stunning. A bit far out but well worth it! I will be back!
