Magical stay. We stayed for a show in Cavan Equestrian centre and brought a pony with us. Beautiful facilities for pony and humans. Ellinor is amazing, so friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting, charming, lovely comfortable beds, and a beautiful stable for the pony. We stayed two nights. We will definitely return.

We really liked the equipment with food products, which were a pleasant surprise for us. We were greeted by a pleasant smell upon entering the house. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet. Electric fireplace makes evening very cozy. I highly recommend it and we will definitely come back.

Very welcoming hosts. Angela gave us tea & cake in the kitchen on arrival and Eugene made us a full Irish breakfast the next morning. Also tried to provide for gluten intolerance in our family. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. We only stopped one night on our way to ferry in Dublin. A lovely rural area.

Location was perfect from Crover house hotel as we had a wedding there.
Breakfast was fabulous and there was no rush getting up for a certain time which was really nice.
The room was lovely and clean and bedding was very comfortable.
The bathroom facilities were lovely, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel there to use.
I had forgotten something in the room and the owner was in touch straight away and it was posted back to me.

Great little property in rural surroundings, perfect for an overnight stay in the area.
Good heating and hot water to get warm and dry after a wet day on Lough Sheelin.
Will definitely be back for another visit.

Great location overlooking beautiful Lough Sheelin.
Great location overlooking beautiful Lough Sheelin. Nice 9 hole par 3 golf on site. Had a great day fishing on the Lough. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would be a fab wedding location. Restaurant closes relatively early and no other options for food nearby so just be aware of that. We will definitely go back!

Staff were very helpful we were made very welcome food for breakfast and dinner first class. The gardens and flowers very well kept the Gardner does great job. The view of lake and lovely walks around hotel were outstanding.
The property was very private and relaxing with great views. The hot tub added to the relaxation! very comfortable even with the weather we had.
the hosts where lovely, even offering to take us there and back to the local hotel so we could enjoy a bit of food and drinks but unfortunately we where to comfortable in our wee hut!
Lovely size room, great views. We ate in the restaurant and couldn’t fault the food we received. Most staff were lovely, staff were attentive until mains were served. Beautiful area to sit outside for a drink. Even with a wedding on in the hotel we didn’t hear very much noise through the night and slept very well.
A full Irish breakfast was cooked and served by donna. She was so chatty and helpful. The house is very remote and it’s decor was old irish. Lots of animals around which we liked. If it’s peace and quie your looking for this is the place. It’s not a five star hotel so don’t expect it to be.
Beautiful views. Staff were lovely in every part of the hotel. Food was delicious at every meal. Big shower in our room which is a hard find when you're plus size so that was great. TV has apps built in so you can log into your own Netflix and stuff 👌
An overall beautiful hotel.
Wonderfull location by the shores of Lough Sheelan and within walking distance of Crover house hotel and golf course. House is small, simple and comfortable with comfortable beds and hot shower. Great value for money.
excellent Breakfast
Very Nice staff , especially the lady (I cant remember her name), who also has a husband working in the hotel.
Two very nice staff members welcomed us, as did Liam who was good craic.
Absolutely loved the hotel, room very comfortable except it was very warm and couldn't turn heating off completely. Staff were lovely especially Mary on reception. Very homely
Beautiful setting for a hotel with the friendliest staff you could wish for. Good breakfast which was still fresh even towards the end of their serving times.
Staff were excellent. Hotel is a Gem which we came across travelling back to Dublin. Would have loved to have another day or two. Definitely stay here again.
