Getting on ferry so no breakfast but a lovely touch was that two buns and orange juice supplied and paper cups to take a drink while awaiting ferry departure. Nice extra.

We were unable to have breakfast as Padua suffered a power outage that had affected the whole street. This was obviously beyond the owners control and he was apologetic about it. The room was light and clean with its own en-suite. Kitchen and dining facilities were shared and a lounge available. The location was close to Wexford historic town and also to some scenic beaches. We had a lovely 2 hr walk on St Helen’s beach recommended by the owner.

Did not have breakfast due to early ferry departure. Room was a family room though only 2 of us, lovely decor with sofa and armchair very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean with walk in shower. Host was very welcoming and gave us all local information for eating out. Highly recommended.
