Perfect facilities for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids! Lots of toys for our 4 yr old and pool & darts to keep our 11 yr old entertained too! Beautiful setting and fabulous garden. Not far from shop and café etc even though we didn't need a huge amount for breakfast as cereal, juice, milk, bread, butter, jams and tea and coffee were all provided. The kiddos were delighted with the chocolate bars too! Huge value for money and we'll definitely be back again! I've already recommended Meadow House to friends!

Great location, walking distance to Kees Hotel, ,( food delicious, the team are fantastic and live music at the weekend, its a must during your stay in Stranorlar)short walk into Ballybofey, lovely walk along the River Finn, Drumboe Woods, public transport ( Number 64 bus) will take you to Derry and Galway with plenty of stops in between, for example Donegal Town or Sligo, neighbouring town of Letterkenny The people of Stranorlar are very friendly and helpful !

It's an extremely busy spot with tail backs for commuters, probably needs to be bypassed. A lot of derelict buildings but that can be said for a lot of small towns/villages. Some lovely flower beds planted.

The rooms are fairly standard they have a kettle for tea and coffee our only concern was that the road traffic could be heard in our room otherwise it was a really peaceful atmosphere and a pleasant place to stay would recommend it.

The breakfast was a buffet, breakfast was fresh and staff were lovely and helpful. We got dinner later in the evening and it was outstanding, by far nicest steak dinner I've had. We stayed mid week but I seen posters for music at weekends. There was ample car spaces available to side of hotel with lovely grounds as well.teresaIreland

There was a lot of open area and greenery in front of the property. We were particularly charmed by the the maple creepers spread all over the place. The place feels like a heritage hotel and has an old-world charm about it. The room was full of antique furniture and all in functional order. The breakfast was exceptional and served in a very cosy restaurant.

Plenty of cafes/restaurants/take aways within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Bar was nice with attentive staff and traditional irish live music at the weekend. Breakfast was a buffet with many choices. I would stay here again.
