Rooms are not maintained and lagging maintenance in all the nook and corner. They have all the facilities but most of them not working or not maintained. The air condition of the first room allotted me was faulty and it was leaking. The second room do not have a proper key. Restaurant is very costly and food was not tasty. The breakfast have few choices.

I wanted to visit the historical places in and around Hassan which I did. Being a solo traveller would have liked to go in a group but tourists are few. Keeping Hassan as center point you can cover lot of historical and scenic places in and around the area like - Belur, Halebid, shravanabelegola , Manjarabad Fort, Shettyhalli Church to name a few. Some decent stays are available in Hassan.
