The location is perfect and ideally located close to the glacier, easy access and yet secluded. Clean, functionable and well thought out layout. Owner is very responsive. We enjoyed the use of the terrace and the large windows to watch sunset and spot the northern lights from. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is an excellent spot for Northern Lights hunting and experienced. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The wifi is seamless and parking is abundant. Highly recommended and great value for money. very near to Crystal Blue Ice cave tour if your coming from Reykjavik.

Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!

The cabin has been renovated to include heated flooring in the shower bathroom, which was a huge hit with our family! Clean, comfortable, and easy to cook and grill, we cooked our own breakfasts and dinners and ate together at the dining table. Our family enjoyed the peaceful farm setting and petting the horses was a bonus! Highly recommend.
