This place was almost the highlight of our trip. We loved the cozy house by the lake and the old city of Anguillara was amazing. It may be my subjective opinion but I enjoyed every minute and could have stayed there forever. Perfect for relaxing holiday after intense period of work.
Also the hosts were very hospitable and treated us like welcome friends. Thank you for that!

This is a great apartment to stay near Rome. Filippo is a great host who responded to our requests and in particular suggested a great parking lot in the center of Rome. The accommodation contains everything necessary for a full stay there for several days or more.
I really liked the comfortable bed, the possibility to park on the private territory of the property.

Anguillara is a very beautiful place and a welcome respite from the “madness” in Rome. I would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake that only operates in summer. Great value for 5 euros. We didn’t have a car and at times it was difficult to find out accurate times for the buses and the boat across the lake. Beautiful old town right on the lake, next to a resort on the lake popular with locals and foreigners alike. Lots of bars and choices of cuisine. Stunning views. Lake swimming and other activities (wind sail boats, kite surfing, wind surfing). Having your own transport would make exploring the wider region easier although train and shuttle bus links through to Rome are easy.Chapman - 10Scored 10

Anguillara was a cute town on the lake with a lot of charm. We were surprised to see that there was a lot of nightlife even on a Thursday night. We stayed one night, and we felt that one night was enough to get a flavor of the town.

There were tea and coffee making facilities in the well equuipped kithen. Our host had also kindly placed still and sparkling water and a small bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for our arrival. We relied on a fantastic blog, https://travelconnectexperience.net/anguillara-sabazia/ , to inform us of things to do, places to visit and where to dine. A train ride into Rome takes 40 minutes and costs an unbelievably cheap €2.60 each way!

There is a children playground nearby. The apartment is not far from the picturesque lake of Bracciano and is at a reasonable distance from Rome. For us it was a great variant to see Rome and not to pay fortunes for accommodation.
