extremely good meal at the hotel restaurant, on a pleasant terrace. Very nice staff (one of the owners, I think).

We were delayed by the ferry from Greece being 7 hours late leaving about 4 hours to drive over 500km to arrive by 2300. Contacted the hotel. No problem someone here until 0100 and if that’s a problem we can give you the door codes etc. Arrived at 0130 as there was a 35 minute delay on the autostrada due to an accident. Codes worked. Key on reception desk. Information about breakfast already sent. Cold water in the fridge. A good end to a rather fraught day. Hotel was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Definitely stay again. Staff really helpful.

The hotel is nicely located with great views to the small lake. The breakfast buffet met all our needs. The a la carte Dinner offers great selection of delicious menus. The (not heated) pool is great and large enough for "real" swimming.
Last but not least there is plenty of parking space on the property.
Hotel Royal is right on the shores of Viverone Lake. It offers characteristic cuisine in a panoramic restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tubs. Parking is free.

Very nice staff, a was offered a cappuccino for free because I didn’t have cash with me. You can see that they are caring to host best the customers.
CA MATILDE enjoys a location in Ivrea, 8.4 miles from Castello di Masino and 29 miles from Mole Antonelliana. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
