Beautiful and quirky hotel that reflected the beautiful town of Matera. It was clean and nostalgic of days past. The staff were helpful and spoke English well.
The complimentary breakfast was lovely and had an excellent choice.

I think this was one of the most magical places I have ever been. Honestly, I don't know where to start... The architecture is impressive, the service impeccable, the hospitality wonderful, the room perfect. I think I only have praises and the certainty that I want to return to this time-space one day.

The location was a short drive from the famous Sassi. After checking out the hotel offered excellent facilities to keep my luggage for a couple of hours while I visited the sights.
