a well- located hotel not far off the motorway, Mathis was a very comfortable stop. Our large bedroom on the ground floor (with steps so not wheelchair accessible) was spotlessly clean with a good bathroom, the staff were very helpful and our dinner delicious with good local specialities, also favoured by the locals, always a good sign! Parking is available on site for a small fee.

I found the bed very comfortable, breakfast was perfect (many thanks for the omelette) and the staff very helpful indeed.

Cuisine both at breakfast and at dinner…. Both provided a buffet . In the evening the buffet was crammed full of salad type , local specialities!
