Room was as pictured on the site, basic but functional. The view from the room was spectacular facing the village. The flip side is the noise from the road. On Saturday was a market in the parking zone over the road. The set up was very quiet as we did not hear this but were woken by a car alarm at 6. The bar down the road was popular Friday evening so if you are a light sleeper opt for a room at the rear, however the view was stunning. Breakfast was plenty of cake, pie and packed biscuit options. Bread rolls some limited cheese and meat. It was fine but not extensive. Coffee was from a machine and no juice option. Water was available. Fruit limited and some tinned options. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the hotel and in the bar.

Beautiful, so beautiful and quiet. Stunning location together with wonderful host and chef, Fabricio, who also became a friend over our 7 night stay. He did a great job in English despite this being, as he charmingly acknowledges, is his not so good language.
There's a rustic charm that may not be to everyone's taste. For us it was authentic and soulful.

The village was lovely, but there is no direct train link...
The village was lovely, but there is no direct train link and you have to bus or taxi to other villages close by. If you have a car, no problems. The village is very hilly and is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
