The property is up in the hills above Verona, with lovely views across Verona to the West and Este to the South East. The apartment (there is only one available) is very spacious, with a large sitting room, a separate kitchen, a large bedroom, separate bathroom and a private balcony. It is also beautifully furnished, with elegant wooden furniture in the bedroom. The owner, Luciana, was absolutely delightful and could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, with scrambled eggs made using eggs from Luciana’s chickens. Overall it was far better than the descriptions on Booking.com led us to expect. In our month-long tour across northern Italy this was the best place we stayed.

The breakfast was very good, and the location was near Porta Nuova Railway Station. The room and the bathroom were large and very well-equipped. The bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from outside, even though we were located on the street side of the hotel.
