This hotel is very current. The room on the front was noisy with traffic constantly flowing past. They didn't have a room free to move us. The reception staff friendly , helpful and polite. I went to breakfast on 31/05/2024 although my itian is a little ropey. It was very clear the breakfast manager was rude to other members of staff. In fact he caused me great distress as I watched him screaming in a waitress face. He kept marching her off and back in again shouting. This was constant for the whole of the breakfast lasting over 45minutes.

Il Faro is right on the harbour in Sorrento, which is great if you are thinking of visiting 1 of the islands. Have a traditional Neapolitan pizza at the Vela Bianca restaurant.

Balcony had a great view - directly at the sunset! Room fairly basic but cleaned daily. Reception was absolutely fantastic - very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I didn't get the gentleman's name unfortunately, but he was brilliant.
